Why this step works:

Little Step no 35 follows closely in the footsteps of Little Step no 34 - to know the difference between prebiotic and probiotic foods. Important because your gut health can be supported by both

To help you translate this knowledge into action, here's a simple list of prebiotic & probiotic foods. This little step is to try just one thing.

...just a little something to consider before you get started:

If you're not used to eating these foods, it's always a good idea to start with a small amount & increase slowly.  And as always, it's important to pay attention to how your body responds and 'listen to your gut'.  Some people find they don't tolerate prebiotic and probiotic foods very well, and there may be different reasons for this.  Sometimes it's a clue that there's imbalances within the gut microflora which need to be addressed first.  We are all unique and if you're making changes to your diet and lifestyle for the sake of your health, it's important to remember that one size definitely doesn't always fit all.  This is when an individualised approach can be really beneficial.

Enjoy trying something new this week. Your gut will thank you for it x
