I firmly believe one of the most important nutrition messages for children is to encourage them to eat a brightly coloured variety of  fruits and vegetables every day.  My youngest, Tom, recently did this masterpiece of our house and I’m secretly hoping that the variety of bright colours he chose has something to do with that message! Yesterday we were all eating rainbow carrots; a bright array of orange, yellow and dark purple – if you’ve not yet discovered them, do try them as they are super nutritious and delicious too!
